One of Urbana's most significant historic buildings is now for sale. The Dr. Adam Mosgrove House was built in 1833 as the home of physician Adam Mosgrove, one of Urbana's first doctors. The building was posted to the National Register of Historic Places on July 15, 1982 and is listed architecturally as Mid-19th Century Revival: Exotic Revival; Federal. There are currently five apartments on the first and second floors and a business occupies the basement. Residents have use of a newly purchased (2019) coin-op washer/dryer. The standing seam metal roof was just recoated and the included second parcel in the back would allow for off-street parking if it were properly leveled/excavated. Agent is owner/relative.
